I have had the privilege of living in many places, including Iceland, Japan, and many states in the U.S. I have taught Pre-K, Kinder, fourth and high school as a classroom teacher, however, my true love is as a specialist; I have been a librarian and an art teacher. Books and Art are my two passions, and I am happiest when I am in my element. I love creating special décor for my classroom that welcomes and inspires students.
I believe in being completely present in the classroom. Teachers know what I mean by this. Don't just go through the motions. Humor and kindness is a must. I know how much I love my own children, and I think, "There are 25 parents who feel that way about each of my students."

Why Blue Corn Moo? When my oldest child was four, we watched a lot of Disney Movies. Pocahontas was popular and she knew all the words...well, what she thought were the words. She sang Colors of the Wind at the top of her lungs including, "Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moo?"
