I started teaching in 2018 after a long career in sales and marketing, so teaching was actually my THIRD career (and my final one).
My teaching style can best be described as informal, high energy, and tell it like it is. I always have a plan for my lessons and find throughout the day that I learn something new (every. single. time.) about how something should be done or how to make it even better. I am always seeking to up my teaching game and give my students the very best.
Who am I? I'm a superstar teacher and not just because my mom thinks so, but... she does ; -) I am not afraid to tell you that 60% of my students in my Title I school met grade level and of that percentage, 15% were MASTERS! If you struggle with knowing the best way to teach kids, let me help! I try my best to make all my lessons FUN, ENGAGING and RIGOROUS. I use all these lessons in my class and it works! I hope your students will love it too!
Bachelor's Degree from The University of North Texas and a Master's Degree in Literacy from American College of Education
I love creating for TPT. Everything that is in my store is something I have or would use in my classroom. I am always thinking about how I can get to higher levels on Bloom's Taxonomy (hence, the store name) with my lessons and my students!
