Dr. Daud Watts is a specialist in both African and African American history who studied at the University of Ghana and Fourah Bay College, Sierra Leone. Ph.D 2011 Temple University (African American Studies) M.A. 2000 Indiana University (African American Studies) B.A. 1972 Trinity College CT (Intercultural Studies) He authored materials in the African American History curriculum, mandated in the Philadelphia School system and taught summer courses at the Smithsonian. He most recently taught at,Dillard University in New Orleans before the covid-19 pandemic.
Dr. Watts has produced materials for students and adult learners that have been utilized from secondary to graduate education, including Children's Workbooks. Several are found on TPT. He is also a photographer,graphic designer and musician. He has five children, ten grandchildren, and two great grandsons.
