Teacher of high school Biology, Ecology, Human Anatomy/Physiology, and Forensics.
The above quote is credited to Maria Montessori. My teaching style is to create engaging, visually stimulating assignments to keep the students motivated and interested in learning the content. Then the activities that follow can be completed on their own with very little assistance from me. I create PPT's, open/cloze notes, and drag and drop activities along with Word worksheets with accompanying internet activities and games. Most PPT's and open/cloze notes come with an accompanying worksheet. Most all of the work posted in my store comes with a KEY. I use a Promethean/Smart Board projector every day in my classroom, and my assignments reflect use of this technology. However, any type of projector can be used. I've learned that teachers are super-resourceful and can accomplish just about any task or hurdle any obstacle!

I'm a 'career switcher' (retired chiropractor) now teaching Biology, Ecology, Human Anatomy and Forensics on the high school level. I love my job and want to share my knowledge about general biology and the human body. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, gardening, photography, making jewelry and anything that has to do with art - especially if it's art in the garden!
