Bible Nonnie

I am currently a Children's Minister for my church. I create curriculum, organize Bible classes, and set up learning stations within the classrooms. I am a Bible school teacher of 50 years, a "Nonnie", mother, teacher, retired elementary principal. I have a masters in Elementary Education. My passion is motivating children to love learning through hands on learning experiences. I love to support teachers and parents by creating bible curriculum that is easy to access and teach and will motivate their kids to love Jesus first!

My passion is to use hands on manipulatives and learning stations to teach the bible in chronological order for a more comprehensive understanding of bible stories. Having the concept of the time and place bible stories happened help children develop a comprehensive understanding of bible truths as they begin to develop applications of bible truths.

I received my Master Principal Designation in 2011. This was the highlight of my career. I was able to open a new elementary school in 2007. Our vision was to create a learning environment we would want for our own children/grandchildren. This vision involved an innovative instructional model including maker spaces, and project based learning. As a retired teacher/principal, I have been able to incorporate best instructional practices into my Bible curriculum including opportunities to allow for active learning through a workshop format.

I graduated from Springdale High School and Arkansas Tech University with a BS in Elementary Education, then received my Masters in Education and an Administration Certification from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

I am a retired Elementary Principal from Springdale Public Schools. I currently work at my church as a Children's Minister. I strive to create curriculum that is hands on and organized chronologically in order to give our children a clear and comprehensive picture of bible truths that they can comprehend and apply to their lives daily.
