TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a full time secondary Special Education teacher since 1993. I'm well seasoned in working with students in the self contained setting with a variety of intellectual disabilities to include; Down Syndrome, Autism, Fragile X, Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Visual Impairments, etc. I'm also a Sunday School teacher at my church for adults with special needs.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in aiding students to be as independent as possible. I provide activities that are hands-on and meaningful learning experiences. All activities are tried and true in the classroom. Students enjoy doing them!
