I've been teaching for over 20 years in conservatories, private studios and schools. I studied drama and dance in New York City and performed as a professional dancer/actress for many years before transitioning to a full time teacher, choreographer and director.
I am a hands on teacher who regularly demonstrates the activities in each of the Drama, Dance or PE classes that I teach. In my class students are encouraged to think outside the box, take risks and support each other. I think it's important to create an atmosphere where students can feel safe to push themselves out of their comfort zones and discover aspects of themselves they didn't know existed.
