I have over 35 years of educational experience as a teacher in grades K-6 and 6 years of experience in curriculum writing for a corporate education company. I have my own tutoring business where I used these resources with great success and I have a website where I sell these resources as well, Awesome Teacher Resources.

I believe teaching should be fun, hands-on, engaging, and collaborative. Students should be able to make real-world connections and learn from one another. Content should, as much as possible, engage the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic elements.

After many years spent teaching in the classroom, I now have my own tutoring business. Everything for sale from Awesome Teacher Resources has been used with students in my effort to encourage a love of learning as well as mastery of concepts. Often topics for comprehension and essay response packets are student driven as I want my students invested in learning. As well, most of the students I currently work with have learning differences so these worksheets try to incorporate not only the current curriculum but are designed to help accommodate learning differences. I am always open to suggestions and have actually created resources based on requests from buyers.
