I have been teaching kindergarten for the past three years and loving every minute of it. I love seeing other peoples ideas and working on my own as well and I thought this place would be great to share them.
My kindergarten team and I have a fabulous method where we all work together to ensure that student work in small flexible groups throughout the day in every subject. But with the flexible small grouping we need to teach our young learners to be independent for small amounts of time and I use these resources on here so I can work with my students individually with minimal interruptions. I want my students using their time wisely and do my best to stay away from busy work.
So far my awards as a teacher has been watching my students grow each year.
I graduated from Shenandoah University and one month later was hired mid year as a kindergarten teacher. I have continued to take differentiation courses while teaching and I am currently applying for grad schools.
I have been exploring different ways to create items on my computer for my own classroom. I have found so many things on TPT as well as pinterest that I thought it would be great to share my work as well.
