Andrea Jamison is an academic librarian, lecturer, and writer. She is known in the library world as a staunch advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion. She is passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments for youth and creating avenues of access (in publishing, libraries, and schools) for groups that have been historically marginalized. Professor Jamison has over 17 years of experience working in schools and libraries. She speaks internationally on issues related to creating inclusive learning spaces for youth and the interplay of race, power, and privilege in children's books.
