I started by career by creating a brand new agriculture program in north central Minnesota. We had an 80 acre school forest, abundant lakes and streams, and many local farms. Since then, I have started a new middle school program and realigned my career with mini-units to better fit my needs.
I believe students should have hands-on activities whenever possible. I enjoy small activities and discussions throughout lectures all guided by presentations. I aim to provide real life examples and information for my students. My curriculum is based off my experiences and my students.

I grew up raising crops and dairy cattle. I have a wealth of knowledge in animal science as I emphasized my degrees with dairy management. I worked as an artificial insemination technician, hoof trimmer, and herd manager. I am certified to teach firearm safety and trappers education and utilize those resources for my introductory courses. In addition to these, I raise and sell cut flowers, canned goods, eggs, chickens, and beef cattle.
