Arts Instruct at The Evelyna Rose

I'm a former Creative Design Teacher from the UK. I qualified in 2020 gaining a PGCE with distinction in Art and Design as well as a second subject in food tech and PSHE. After my training year I taught for two years before emigrating to France. I now teach ESL online as well as designing and creating digital planners for teachers.

I came to secondary school teaching later in life. I previously worked as a Cover Supervisor as well as a short spell as an Exams Officer. I have a background in health promotion, having worked for the NHS for over 5 years. During this time I worked in a number of primary schools teaching playground games and healthy eating. I have also worked with unemployed young people, training and mentoring them in to work.

I'm a mum to two boys aged 8 and 19. I've lived in France for just over a year now and I'm on my own learning journey learning the language :-)
