TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching visual arts for 13 years to middle school and high school students. I have taught Algebra 1, geometry, physics, IB mathematics, MYP art, IB Art, AP art and art 1. I currently teach art 1 to 9th-12th grade students in South Texas.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strongly believe that students learn best through hands on experiences and I try to incorporate as many demos as possible. My course is structured around student centered learning and therefore I facilitate rather than lecture most of the time. I try to provide students with student, teacher, and artist examples related to every project that we are working on.
