Six years of teaching high school (grades 9 - 12) Biology, Chemistry, Genetics, and Physical Science to low-income, high-risk student populations, and three years of teaching gifted and talented middle school (grades 6 - 8) general engineering and forensics, and two years of teaching all levels of middle school (grades 7 & 8) biomedical engineering, forensics, maritime engineering, SeaPerch, and robotics.

I graduated from the University of South Carolina - Upstate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2009. In 2011, I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Master of Education in Secondary Urban Education, and most recently, in 2017, I graduated from Clemson University with a Master of Science in Biological Sciences.
