By AP African American Studies I am proud that my campus has selected me to teach the AP African American Studies course for the 2023-2024 school year. As I create and teach with the materials for my course, I will upload those to my TPT account. I also teach AP Human Geography and will start to add materials to this TPT store occasionally.
I have 15 years of experience with more than half of those in AP education. I have also taught AP World History and currently teach AP Human Geography. I have experience as an AP Reader to score student exams as well as a Table Leader and Question Leader. My hope is that I create a variety of activities that take advantage of the interdisciplinary themes of the course including slide shows, compilation of articles, group activities and other student-centered learning experiences.
