Anne Grzanich

This is my 15th year of teaching and I love each and every moment of teaching. I was an art teacher for 5 years k-12 grades. I currently teach 4th grade in a small rural community in Canton, IL. We have recently embraced the common core standards and a lot of the worksheets or activities that will be placed on here are aligned with common core.

I believe that I am a facilitator type of teacher. The classroom focus is a lot with student-centered learning in small groups with activities. There is a lot of active learning, student-to-student collaboration and problem solving. I try to design learning situations and activities that require student processing and application of course content in creative and original ways.
