TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching high school social studies in Maryland since 2010. I currently teach U.S. History and Government. I have a B.A. in Secondary Education Social Studies, M.S. in Special Education, and am also certified in ESOL. I am also a Google certified educator.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Reaching struggling learners and making modifications to meet their needs is my specialty. In history, I emphasize cause and effect relationships, using primary sources, linking historical and current events, and teaching from a variety of perspectives.

We have a nearly 4 year old daughter and infant daughter. My husband and I love the Baltimore Ravens, spending time with friends and family. I enjoy watching true crime and historical fiction.
