TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching Algebra for over ten years in grades 6 - 12. I have taught in three states and 6 schools, and have recently become an expert on the Common Core curriculum for our district.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My main task each day is to get my students actively engaged in mathematics. My materials are designed to allow the students to know if they are on the right track and avoid, at all costs, the question, "Ms. Cohen...is this right?" This allows students to become detectives in their own problem solving.
