TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught Latin in High Schools since 1987. I've also taught online, instructed homeschoolers individually and in small classes, and done tutoring. I work with both Classical and Ecclesiastical Latin. I have also often taught English and English Literature classes over my career. I'm certified both in Latin and in English.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Eclectic. I generally take a fairly traditional approach, but I'm willing to try new things and incorporate new tools and techniques. In recent years, for instance, I've used slide shows to present new texts to my classes, and I've learned how to make instructional videos.
