I have over a decade of experience teaching high school Italian, ESL, and upper-level career readiness electives. Follow me on Instagram: @AdventuresInItalian
My approach to language learning is communicative and inclusive. I aim for balance in every area of my teaching: balancing grammar studies with spontaneous speech; balancing hard work with fun; balancing rigor with an appropriate attention to my students' wellbeing. When I am in Italy, I feel so ALIVE! I feel joyful, awestruck, and immersed in a beautiful culture. That's how I want my students to feel when they are in my classroom, and my activities reflect that.
I have been invited to present at several world language conferences at the NJ State level, including ITANJ and FLENJ. I have also presented at NECTFL's annual conference.
