TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over eight years of classroom experience in diverse, urban educational environments. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to student success and have received numerous accolades from students, parents, and colleagues for my innovative teaching techniques and engaging classroom management style. I have taught first grade, second grade, a first and second grade bilingual split classroom, as well as a fourth grade classroom specializing in dyslexia and learning differences.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that the ultimate goal of teaching is to foster a love of learning. As an educator, I strive to create inclusive atmospheres where students feel welcomed, loved, inspired, and supported. Through the use of positive behavior intervention and support systems, my students are both invested in the classroom community and intrinsically motivated to take charge of their own learning process. I strongly believe that my passion for learning will shine through my teaching and provide my students with that same passion to become life-long learners.
