TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have worked with children for 10 years and taught professionally for 3. I have always worked in high-needs areas/schools. I have gotten to experience the top education system in the world in Finland, and have tried my best to implement what I observed in my classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Because of my experience in Finland, my teaching style is a mix of a Finnish style of teaching (very hands-on and experienced learning), Montessori, and traditional when needed.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Nominated for Rookie Teacher of the Year (2021)

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from the University of South Carolina Beaufort with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
