Teaching Experience: 23 Years in Education Audience: 6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade, Staff, Adult Education, Parents Content Areas: Earth Science, Life Science, Physical Science, Assessments, Gifted and Talented, Differentiated Instruction, Curriculum and Instruction, Common Core, Language Arts, Writing Strategies, Reading Strategies, Pre-Algebra, RTI, and Math Skills

I use a variety of learning styles and strategies to assist and provide consist support for all of my students to meet and exceed county, state, and national expectations. Examples: Differentiated Instructional Strategies (scaffolding, pair-share, choice boards, etc.)-interactive and engaging learning; facilitator (promote self- learning sometime through independent studies and/or flip classroom model); Bloom's Taxonomy; Multiple Intelligence; Various group style methods (whole group, smaller collaboration groups, lab groups/group style); hybrid/blended style (connect students' interest to the curriculum); etc.

I have the passion to teach and to reach all students. It is my goal to re-invent myself as an educator each year for the new students that enter the classroom. I want to maximize their learning experience and make it a loving, supportive, engaging, positive, safe, fun, and effective educational environment. In addition, I want to be able to provide the same support and resources for other educators.
