MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a variety of learning styles and strategies to assist and provide consist support for all of my students to meet and exceed county, state, and national expectations. Examples: Differentiated Instructional Strategies (scaffolding, pair-share, choice boards, etc.)-interactive and engaging learning; facilitator (promote self- learning sometime through independent studies and/or flip classroom model); Bloom's Taxonomy; Multiple Intelligence; Various group style methods (whole group, smaller collaboration groups, lab groups/group style); hybrid/blended style (connect students' interest to the curriculum); etc.

I have the passion to teach and to reach all students. It is my goal to re-invent myself as an educator each year for the new students that enter the classroom. I want to maximize their learning experience and make it a loving, supportive, engaging, positive, safe, fun, and effective educational environment.
