A Little Bit Classical

I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and have taught music in the elementary public-school system. I transitioned to homeschooling my 4 kids over 6 years ago and have since taught Music, History, and Ela classes for our local homeschool community.

In the classroom and at home with my own children, my teaching style is using any method that will engage the students and encourage a deeper understanding. I learn best through songs or chanting information to memorize, so when teaching, I use lots of songs, chants, and movement to help make lessons fun and “stick” longer in students mind.
