I have been teaching for about ten years. I first started my career as a middle school teacher for three years in which I taught Math, Science, and Expressive Arts (including Lanuage Arts). I then moved to the elementary level and have been teaching 3rd grade since then. I have my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction Elementary. I am a Support Provider for new teachers and also am a part time professional for the Beginning Teacher Induction Program.
My teaching style includes a lot of direct instruction lessons where students are slowly guided to idendepence in the lesson. I rarely use worksheets to drill and kill information. Instead, I choose to use interactive activties, centers, and games. My passion in teaching is using technology within the classroom.
