TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 22 years in a variety of grade levels and socio-economic levels. I have also worked as an elementary and secondary school counselor. I'm currently working as an education specialist at my local Education Service Center. I have a B.S.I.S. from Midwestern State University, a Master's in Technology Integration from Nova Southeastern University, and a Master's of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. I have also worked as a Campus Technology Integration Facilitator, and have presented at local, regional, and state conferences. I enjoy working with peers and students! They both provide new sets of challenges.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I used a variety of teaching styles in my classroom. I employed the use of many products, as well as, contracts, layered curriculum and activities menus. I think a good balance of teacher direction and student choice is beneficial to student learning and achievement.
