TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am one of those people who decided after a career in retail and managing a family business to follow my calling: Middle Childhood Education! I somehow ended up in an elementary school and love it. I have taught English Language Arts in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade in an urban school district and I have experience in 7th and 8th grade as well.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a hands on teacher who believe you should not use technology just to say you are using it. You should use technology to with a purpose. My 5th graders are currently in a hybrid class, half online and half in class.
