2nd Grade with Miss Cummins

I have been teaching since 2015. I spent two years in kindergarten and now I am teaching 2nd grade.

Teaching and learning should be FUN! I believe that it is my job as a teacher to ignite a passion for learning in my students (in addition to teaching them how to be at school, social skills, common core standards, etc.). I know that their little bodies and minds need to be moving all the time, so I design my instruction/activities to meet that need. I believe that engaging and active learning goes a long ways to helping young learners succeed academically and behaviorally.
