Description
I am a Nationally Board Certified Teacher with a master's in reading and literacy and an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development. My students regularly score higher on reading and writing tests regardless of the format of the tests. This Smart Notebook shows students the important mechanics of writing. Students are shown the important mechanics the helps them to become academic writers. This lesson gives them basics of word usage, punctuation, and common writing errors. It begins with a "notes" page and each slide covers each topic more in depth.
