This product includes a viewing guide for the documentary The Cats of Mirikitani and an internment sketch assignment that guides students through an analysis of the physical, emotional, and psychological impact of the Japanese internment camps in Chapter 3 of When the Emperor Was Divine by Julie Otsuka.
