We Can Reduce! We Can Reuse! We Must Recycle!

Do you want a real word Earth Day connection? Do you want your students to see the importance of recycling? I often think they think this is an adult reasonability. In this resource you will collect students’ trash and show students they are consumers and producers. Students can see first hand the amount of trash they produce on a daily basis. You will chart this as a class with the enclosed 100s charts. The students will graph their paper, plastic, cans, and “oops papers” to see the damage they could cause to our Earth if they too are not responsible citizens. You have all of the resources enclosed for a writing follow up, pictograph bulletin board display, and math data analysis of the trash collected.
