Vocabulary Graphic Organizer/Word Web (Semantic Feature Analysis)

Ways to use the graphic organizer:

  • Complete as a class or with students to support vocabulary acquisition and deeper understanding discussing and filling in each section together.
  • Provide the students with pages to complete in a vocabulary center or as homework.
  • Complete as a prereading activity reviewing vocabulary or characters that will be encountered in the book or chapter.
  • Print pages front and back and staple together or put in a binder to be reviewed and kept as personal dictionary or vocabulary study set.
