Description
Looking for a Valentine's Day music opposites game for your elementary music lesson that will reinforce melodic direction and the music opposite high and low?
This digital resource is an excellent addition to your February music lesson plans or anytime you are working on music comparatives. An engaging music game for the entire class, music sub tub, music centers or distance learning! Plus, it will work on tablets and Web Browsers.
The resource is included in a bundle: Music Opposites Interactive Music Games and Assessments {Love Bug Bundle}. Click on the product link or the preview button for additional details. Consider purchasing the bundle to save money!
The product contains 15 student interactive slides. Each slide has several sound effects and animations. Students will click on the "love bug" to hear a sound. They will then click on the answer that represents what they hear! Students will know immediately without leaving the page if they are correct. Be prepared for a brain break of laughter and movement when they select the correct answer. Perfect addition to your Orff lessons and Kodaly lessons.
A QR Code is also included. Print or project the pdf flyer so students can easily scan and play the game.
An assessment plus an answer key is included with the product as a separate PowerPoint document so you are able to formally assess students on the concept in a later lesson. The assessment document includes:
★ A student test (to be printed in black/white with one per page).
★ An assessment key
★ A sample slide of the student test. Instead of playing the answer just project the slide on your board and access the sounds by clicking on the object using the PowerPoint or the shared link!
An excellent observation or assessment tool to see which students might be struggling with the concept.

In addition, use the QR code provided or the PowerPoint version of the game as another option for utilizing the product. Integrating the resource into digital learning platforms like Canvas, Blackboard, Seesaw, and Google Classroom is easy when utilizing the "shared link".
