What educators are saying
We make these every spring! The children like to mix and match the parts to create unique birds. Great purchase!
Description
Here's an Art Activity that can be done for Valentine's Day or any day! It's also a great bird identification study! You'll get patterns for 8 of the most common birds in the US: Cardinal, Mockingbird, Bluebird, Chickadee, Blue Jay, Robin, Gold Finch and Red-Headed Woodpecker. Each bird is assembled primarily out of hearts thus making it a unique Valentine Art Activity. Even though each bird is cartoon-like; it's still a fairly accurate representation of it's kind. Your students will easily be able to identify these birds in nature after creating them. The patterns can be copied onto colored construction paper or white paper and colored. I hope you enjoy!
