Description

Take your civics, government, criminal justice, or bias & perspective learning digital with this mock trial project! Your students will listen to several version of The Three Little Pigs, then put the Third Pig on trial after walking through a series of slides about how a criminal trial looks in the American justice system. Assign some slides or all of them - they are all created for you.

This product includes:

- teacher pages with directions, the link to copy the Google-compatible presentation, and ideas for preparing your students

- a 46-slide presentation that includes:

1. a summarized story of The Three Little Pigs

2. an explanation of bias

3. definitions of the main people involved in an American criminal trial

4. the basic order of procedures in a trial

5. slides to walk your students through the trial for the Third Little Pig, with text boxes where they can imagine what each character might say (and you can see how much they understand!)

This product is suitable for upper-elementary, middle school, and homeschool students. It can also be great for use with scouting or civic groups.
