'This is My Language' Arabic Conversation course; Unit 4: In the City

This is an Arabic conversation course that has all the components of a traditional foreign language course. All skills are developed: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Grammar, and Writing. This is Unit 4: In the City & Transportation; an introduction to places in your city and identifying modes of transportation. Students learn to speak about places they go and how they go. Reading comprehension: Hafsa and Sumaya's Day in the City; (some familiar places for New Yorkers) as in each unit there is a reading text that slightly pushes the student further. Students should memorize the reading paragraph as well as the hadith. Students talk about travel to U.S. cities and learn names of U.S. locations in Arabic.
