Use the interactive powerpoint to discuss:
1) The origin and purpose of urban legends
2) How urban legends exploit cultural fears
3) The goal of urban legends in perpetuating popular morals within a culture
4) Fun urban legends about teenagers
At the end, students will pick a fear to exploit and create their own one page story (rubric included).
