You can use these character chart printables in your students' readers notebooks while reading the novel by S.E.Hinton. It includes each of the characters that are introduced in the first chapter so that students can keep track of them. The charts include information that will easily distinguish between the characters as well provide details and textual evidence to elicit accurate information from the students.

The bottom of the chart allows for students to input textual evidence about each trait based on the information in the chart. Students can dress up the organizer with illustrations if they desire to be creative.

Also included is a two-page worksheet to use to study. This is an easy tool to use when preparing for a test or quiz. Students can find information in chapter one or by using their notebook entries - which is also included!

This teaching lesson was designed and used with my grade 8 small group and inclusion English language arts students.

Check out this awesome feedback from happy customers.
