Description

Sick of the plain old research paper or poster? This project incorporates a hands-on and digital approach to researching and presenting information on an element of The Periodic Table. Students year after year choose this as one of their favorite projects. It allows students many choices and fosters their creativity. The well-structured project outline guides each student through the research process. In the end, the student is an expert on their element, its history, and its uses today. Presenting is always a challenge for kids, but an important skill. The Element Cube presentation component helps students practice speaking to their peers while using a media presentation they created.
