Thanksgiving Activities Decodable Readers Kindergarten CVC Science of Reading

Provide your students with meaningful phonics practice with this set of six Thanksgiving-themed CVC Word Family Decodable Readers! Decodable readers have decodable words and text for beginning readers so students can apply their phonics knowledge to blend sounds together while reading new words and texts.

Decodable readers are designed to have sequenced phonics skills that are consistent for readers to provide purposeful reading practice. In this set, consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) words are used for students to apply what they are learning during phonics instruction. Please note that while the vast majority of the text is CVC word families and sight words, there are two blends in this set: drum and spot.
