Description
Provide your students with meaningful phonics practice with this MEGA bundle of Decodable Readers for kindergarten and first grade students. These books have decodable words and text for beginning to developing readers so students can apply their phonics knowledge to blend sounds together while reading new words and texts.
This set is a GROWING bundle and will include at least 180 decodable readers for kindergarten and first grade students.
Decodable readers are designed to have sequenced phonics skills that are consistent for readers to provide purposeful reading practice. In these sets, alphabet decodable readers through more advanced digraphs, blends, and vowel teams readers are used for students to apply what they are learning during phonics instruction and develop their decoding skills and reading fluency.
The text in these books are stories (not just word family sentences), so they can be used for comprehension activities and are perfect to send home for at-home reading.
This growing bundle currently includes 22 resources (please see what's included in the linked resources above).
And will include (by summer 2024):
- Beginning + Ending Blends Decodable Readers
- Long Vowel CVCe Decodable Readers
- Vowel Teams Decodable Readers
Each reader features:
- title page
- phonics skills page with word family, sound, sight word, and decodable word lists (+ word counts for the digraph, blends, long vowel, + vowel team sets)
- six pages of a decodable story
