Teaching Traits to Improve African American Achievement

I was a Math Specialist. I was asked to move to a school with low performing students. The main subgroup of under performing students was African American. I started researching and finding out how African American students learn best. Attached is my dissertation containing fascinating research on how African American students learn best. This information will greatly assist administrators and teachers. There is also a survey that I created that you can give to your students to see how they learn best. The survey is about teaching traits that help the students learn. I read all of the research. This is fascinating and will create a paradigm shift.

After I went to this under performing school, we were meeting math achievement in 7 months. My spiral reviews, curriculum, and understanding how African American students learn, all helped achievement soar!
