Description
Use these to help guide your students into writing summaries for narrative or expository text selections. These organizers start by helping with turning a topic into a main idea statement. After that, the organizer helps students select supporting details from the text to go with the main idea. Then, students are prompted to write the sentence stems they've completed (the main idea statement and the three supporting details) into paragraph form. I've used these graphic organizers in my Reading Intervention groups for years with great success! I hope you find them useful, as well! Please let me know if there are any changes you would like to see. Also, if you like this resource, please add me as a favorite seller to see what I have coming as I build my TpT store! Please don't forget to rate! Thank you!
