A student directed lesson, that is certain to help students to remember the strengths and weaknesses of each army leading up to the Revolutionary War!

This is a complete lesson which includes:

-Tactile sorting activity that requires critical thinking (students arrive at answers using reasoning before being given answers) This incorporates independent thinking, partner guidance and whole class review of material

-DBQ style Paragraph (Constructed Response) Assignment on the Strengths and Weaknesses of the Americans in the Revolutionary War which includes 3 primary sources, prompt and rubric

-Bonus: How to Write a Constructed Response Reference Card (ideal if printed on card stock and hole punched to keep in student binders)
