Strategies for Addition and Subtraction Parent Resource

I have parents ask me all the time what this strange math I am teaching is. They don't understand it because they have never seen it before. I sent home this parent resouce to show them three strategies for adding and subtracting numbers so that they would not just teach their child to "stack and solve." There are several more strategies that I could have included, but I chose to use the following three.

Base 10 Blocks
Place Value or Decomposing Numbers
Number Line
