What educators are saying
Used it as homework to have students explore Roman architecture in Google Earth before we started our unit. Worked really well as a preview and brain activator
Description
This is an activity that allows students to "fly to" Rome using Google Earth and examine 3 major structures as if they were archaeologists. The three structures are the Pantheon, the Colosseum, and the Thermae (Baths) of Caracalla. This resource contains a 2-paged student activity sheet and a third page with possible responses/answers. There are also two websites listed at the bottom of the student sheet that students can use to find out more about the 3 structures when they have completed the Google Earth activity.
