Description
This is a set of secret codes with 10 different themes, by Sara Ipatenco. Each secret code page requires students to use the code to find the answers to riddles or jokes. Each page has 3 jokes or riddles for your students to solve. There are a total of 100 worksheets included in this set. These are a great way to encourage extra reading and spelling practice. They are also a great way to boost letter recognition and practice sight word recognition, as well as use higher level thinking skills to convert the code into letters. They are also a good way to encourage your students to practice using capital letters and ending marks, if necessary, when recording their answers. Use them for morning work, early finishers, time filling activities, or as homework. Themes included: school, fall, Halloween, Christmas, winter, Valentine's Day, spring, summer, fruit, and dessert.
