Description

Are you looking for ways for your students to improve their reading comprehension skills? These digital reading comprehension passages and strategy activities cover 12 different reading strategies.

These are in Boom Cards format, so they are self-checking. Boom Cards are very universal in that they can easily integrate with different types of digital platforms or LMS such as Google Classroom, Seesaw, Microsoft Teams, and more.

Note: These are on sale for the time being. The normal price is $32.

You will find the following 12 sets of Boom Cards with this bundle:

•Main Idea

•Theme

•Making Inferences

•Answering Questions

•Problem & Solution

•Sequencing

•Drawing Conclusions

•Author's Purpose

•Main Character

•Fact or Opinion

•Cause & Effect

•Context Clues

Each set includes 12 cards each. These are set to play randomly, and you can adjust how many play each time. Most activities involve passages, so you may want to lower the amount. A few of the activities include sentences, so that should be a happy number for them to use.

What Do I Need to Use the Boom Cards?

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for modern Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (a form of play that gives instant feedback to students for self-grading Boom Cards). For assignment options that report student progress back to you, you will need to purchase a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of our premium account. Readhere for details: http://bit.ly/BoomTrial.

How Many Devices Can Access the Boom Cards?

A single license is good for one teacher and her students, so you can use this with your whole class on as many devices as you like. You can even assign these for homework too!

How Will I Assign the Boom Card Files?

You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options, you will need a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of our premium account. I will provide links to access Boom Learning in the resource. In other words, you can use these with a free account, but you get additional features with the premium account. Premium accounts are very low cost for the year too. You can easily assign the links in any LMS such as Google Classroom or even Seesaw.
