Description
This fold-out foldable presents the differences between qualitative and quantitative data in a very simple easy to easy-to-understand format, for middle school and beginning high school-aged students.
It is a great introduction and can also be used as a review. Students are encouraged to write and respond to multiple prompts while also sorting data. Two real-life examples that students can easily relate to are also used.
Three graphic organizer foldables included. A blank student copy for students who have little trouble taking notes and following along. A modified copy with fill-in-the-blanks for students with note-taking and handwriting challenges along with the teacher's key.
The guided notes come in a foldable format for easy insertion into an interactive notebook or worksheet style. There are two versions of each. Version 1 compares a school with a farm. Version 2 compares a school with an amusement park.
The PowerPoint is very short and follows the beginning of the qualitative and quantitative notes.
