Scientific Investigation with Qualitative vs Quantitative Data Bundle

This bundle has two editable PowerPoints and two graphic organizer guided notes in fold-out foldables or worksheet style. They can be easily glued into any sized interactive notebook and are excellent foundation lessons that can be reviewed throughout the year. Each style comes in a standard student style. modified style with fill-in-the-blank, and teacher key.

The six steps covered for scientific investigation are purpose, research, hypothesis, experiment, analyze, and conclusion. Experimental design is covered in detail with an example for the PowerPoint and an additional experiment example in the foldable for the students.

The qualitative-quantitative bundle has fold-out foldable and PowerPoint which presents the differences between qualitative and quantitative data in a very simple easy to easy-to-understand format, for middle school and beginning high school-aged students.

It is a great introduction and can also be used as a review. Students are encouraged to write and respond to multiple prompts while also sorting and breaking down information.

The graphic organizers can be easily filled out while you go over the PowerPoint in class.

Both lessons offer an easy way for students to understand and be able to review themselves over basic science strategies throughout the school year.
